Leaping in the Dark

“Living is a form of not being sure, not knowing what next or how. The moment you know how, you begin to die a little. The artist never entirely knows. We guess. We may be wrong, but we take leap after leap in the dark.” –Agnes de Mille

And so I leap. This will be a short post as I am in the midst of a move back East. Not sure what the future holds exactly, but I’m facing it with as much courage as I can muster in the effort to improve my economic situation. Living in one of the most beautiful, if expensive, cities in Canada comes with a price tag that is just a little too high for me and having other options, I’m embracing, once again, the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and freedom of the East.

I love the quote above and find it meaningful, particularly now, as I’m embarking on this exercise which has an uncertain outcome. I live with the feeling that, on one level, I really have no idea what I’m doing and yet, on another, confident that it will lead in a productive and happy direction.  So, there it is.

May we all be inspired to bravely face whatever challenges populate our life, uncertain outcomes and all, with as much love, intelligence, patience and integrity as we are capable of in this moment.

Much love to all.
